The Friends of Rochambeau supports and promotes library services in Providence by fundraising, volunteering, engaging in community outreach, and advocating for the Rochambeau Library, a branch of the Community Libraries of Providence (CLPVD).
This year, our goal during A week of Giving is to raise over $1,000 for the CLPVD!
The 9 libraries in the CLPVD system are the heart of our Providence community, welcoming everyone through their doors with warmth and possibility. They offer so much more than books — they provide free access to computers and Wi-Fi, human services, maker spaces, engaging programs for children and adults, museum passes, outdoor spaces, and so much more. They also create a safe, welcoming space where neighbors connect, friendships grow, and learning never stops.
By donating to our campaign, you’ll help us surpass our $1,000 goal and ensure the CLPVD libraries continue to inspire, support, and bring joy to all who visit.
