As many of you know, my mother was a librarian in the public libraries in Providence for over 30 years and seeing what she and her colleagues did every day gave me a real appreciation for the importance of the libraries' role in our communities. I've recently joined the Board in the hopes that I can help the organization I grew up in to survive and thrive. I hope that you will help with a donation today, and I would love to hear your stories and experiences with the libraries you grew up in as well as any ideas or inspiration you might have to help the Community Libraries of Providence.
