In Memory & Honor of Rosanne Camacho

The Community Library of Providence has established a Roseanne Camacho fund for Knight Memorial Library to enlarge their collections in the fields of Women's Studies and Caribbean History. General, unspecified donations are always welcome as well.

Rosanne was known for her curiosity, intelligence, and her passion for teaching and learning at all levels, from elementary to college education. A longtime resident of Elmwood in South Providence, Roseanne was actively committed to social justice and supporting her community. She spent years working on behalf of Knight Memorial Library, and contributed thought-provoking accounts of issues in the city for the Providence Eye. Her kind generosity of spirit touched everyone she encountered, enriching us all.
